I was really pleased to be part of Ubisoft Paris for the new release of Just Dance 2022, I have gained alot of experience in the whole pipeline of production during my internship.
Our main target was establishing maps which are the backgrounds of each song. And according to the Art lead's guidance we used to create 2D environment concepts defining moodboards, styles and atmosphere. Also for the 3D maps, we used to turn concepts into 3D environment assets while taking goodcare of texturing and proportions. One of the best experience was the collaboration with the Video Artists to develop and build visual targets.
